Mind Craft

The Mind Craft program has been created by Principal Psychologist, Deni Fowle, and is facilitated by registered Art Therapist, Hayley Froggatt. The program is designed with the aim of teaching children creative ways to use their mind to manage emotions and develop a healthy and helpful mind set.

Classes run weekly through school terms, and provides an ongoing space for kids to come and practice Mindfulness skills and engage in a variety of creative and art therapy activities.

This weekly program is perfect for kids who are looking for ways to manage anxiety and stress levels, and improve their overall health and wellbeing. The program offers a supportive, social environment, whilst maintaining the therapeutic nature within a small group setting.

Whilst children will participate in a variety of art therapy activities, there is very minimal focus on technique, as the kids are encouraged to take the opportunity to engage in self expression and embrace imperfection!

We have designed this program for children age 7-9 years. For older children, interested in engaging in an art therapy and mindfulness program, we are currently taking expressions of interest, and hoping to launch our new Journal Club in term one 2018.

The Mind Craft program will be offered on Wednesdays in Term Three 4:30-6:00pm commencing week 2, running for 9 weeks.

The cost of the program is $225.00 for the term and includes all materials.
